The Designer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA to an Argentinian/Italian mother and a Korean father. Now a mother to two sweet little boys and engaged to a wonderful partner. Vanessa was taught how to sew basics during the middle school years by a mother, with a seamstress background and a  grandfather who owned/operated a tailor shop in Buenos Aires. 

 She followed the design path and attended a high school specifically for Fashion Design, where she honed the skills for sewing. Landing the first internship for a clothing label in Downtown LA at the age of 17. She would then go on to create the first collection in 2011. With many more to follow. 

Now living in Las Vegas, with two runway shows under the RAW Artists Foundation, coming in 2nd place for their Top Vegas Designers finale. Leading to more connections and publications. Such as the launch of our first Plus Size collection with the top online retailer,SHEIN for the SHEIN X Incubator program in 2022.

With more than 10+ years of experience in the fashion field, being almost fully self-taught and operating her own label, Designs by Delichote, Vanessa is a professional in the field.
